CUET Language Test Syllabus
Reading Comprehension questions based on different types of passages, including Literary, Factual, and Narrative [Vocabulary and Literary Aptitude], will be used to assess students’ language fluency. The following languages are included in Sections 1A and 1B, respectively:
Section 1 A: Hindi, English, Gujarati, Assamese, Bengali, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil, Odia, Marathi, and Urdu.
Section 1 B: Chinese, Italian, French, German, Arabic, Nepali, Japanese, and other languages. Russian, Tibetan, Spanish, Dogri, Kashmiri, Bodo, Konkani, Manipuri, Maithili, Sindhi, and Santhali.
CUET General Test Syllabus
The General Aptitude Test (GA) is part of the CUET paper and consists of sections including Current Affairs & General Knowledge, Mental Ability, Numerical Skill, Logical & Analytical Reasoning, and Quantitative Reasoning.
Domain Subjects of CUET Syllabus
The CUET syllabus for the domain-specific paper is the same as for Class 12, according to the NCERT model. Accountancy, Biology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Computer Sciences, Economics, Geography, History, Home Science, Legal Studies, Maths, Physics, Anthropology, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, and Sanskrit are the domain subjects.
Physical education, fine arts, engineering graphics, knowledge tradition-practice in India, performing arts, commercial arts, entrepreneurship, mass media, teaching aptitude, and agriculture are additional subjects.
Performing Arts include
- Dance: Kuchipudi, Bharatnatyam, Kathakali, Kathak, Oddisi, and Manipuri
- Drama: Theatre
- Music General: Carnatic, Hindustani, Rabindra Sangeet, Percussion, and Non-Percussion
Will Class 12 grades be considered for undergraduate admissions?
The UGC has not made it mandatory to include Class 12 marks in admissions. However, it is up to the universities whether they want to include Class 12 marks as one of the merit or eligibility criteria in their admission process.
How to Prepare for the CUET 2022 Exam?
Candidates can use the following preparation tips:

This year, the NTA has planned to hold the CUET online (Computer Based Test). Previously, the exam was conducted offline.
