Central University of Rajasthan CUET 2022, Program offered, Eligibility and More!

The Central University of Rajasthan (CURAJ) was founded in 2009 in the Rajasthan city of Ajmer. The government of India established it as a fully funded central university. The university is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council with an “A” grade (NAAC). The university was ranked 34 in the overall NIRF 2021 ranking. The Central University of Rajasthan offers UG, PG, and PhD level courses in Science, Commerce, Arts, and Architecture, among other subjects.

The CUET Rajasthan entrance exam will be used to determine UG admissions at the University of Rajasthan for the academic year 2022-23.  The CUET exam will be conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency) which is an autonomous institution meant to conduct entrance exams for all central universities.

Central University of Rajasthan Reservation Policy for UG Admissions 2022:

Central University of Rajasthan being a Central University offers reservations to the categories according to central government rules.

Schedule Caste (SC): 15% of the total seats are reserved for students who belong to the SC category.

Scheduled Tribe (ST): 7.5% of the total seats are reserved for students belonging to the ST category.

Other Backward Classes (OBC): 27% of the total intake is reserved for students from Other Backward Classes (OBC), excluding those from the creamy layer. A Central List of castes is to be followed.

Economically Weaker Section (EWS): The University has reserved 10% seats for the EWS category, in accordance with the directive of the Ministry of Education.

Persons with Disability (PWD): A total 5% of the seats are reserved on a horizontal basis for students from this category.

The university provides career counselling to its students to help them achieve goals and conducts various workshops.
