The Central University of Kerala was founded in 2009 under the Central University Act in the Kasaragod district of Kerala. The college is one of the first 15 universities established under this Act, making it one of the most well-known universities in South India. Kerala University has 151 prestigious colleges that are divided into autonomous and non-autonomous colleges. It has 16 faculties and 42 departments in total, offering a variety of UG and PG courses such as BA, MA, M.Sc, LLM, M.Ed, MSW, MPH, and P.hD. It has an “A” grade from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and is ranked 27th in the overall NIRF 2021 ranking. It belongs to the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

University of Kerala: UG Programs Eligibility

To get into the UG programs of the University of Kerala, a student must have at least 50% marks or equivalent in the 12th standard from a recognized Board (studied in the 10+2 system). Apart from this, the SC/ST students are granted up to 5% relaxation in the minimum requirement of marks. Also, the candidates should not have completed 19 years of age at the time.

Central University of Kerala Undergraduate Admissions:

Assam University held its own entrance exam till now to admit students to the UG programmes. Admissions to ssCentral University of Kerala UG programmes will be based on the Central Universities Common Entrance Test beginning in the academic year 2021. (CU-CET). CU-CET will be a common entrance exam for all UG programmes offered by the Central Universities.
