What is CUET?
CUET or Central Universities Entrance Test is an All-India exam conducted for admission to UG courses in 45 Central Universities and other participating universities, including BHU and Delhi University, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
Why CUET?
It is the mandatory examination students need to pass to get admission to universities under the Ministry of Education’s purview and established under an Act of Parliament. Admissions that used to be based on class 12th marks are now based on CUET results.

Currently, 54 central universities are offering nearly 1.7 lac seats at the UG level under various disciplines. You can also gain admission to universities like Banaras Hindu University, Delhi University, and Jamia Millia Islamia through CUET.

Important Dates and Fee Details for Common University Entrance Test (UG) - 2022:
Common University Entrance Test (CUET (UG) – 2022) will be conducted in 13 mediums
across India for admission into the Undergraduate Programmes in Computer Based Test
(CBT) mode for all the Central Universities (CUs) in India for the academic year 2022-23.

CUET Eligibility Criteria
- Students in the General category should have at least 50% marks in class 12.
- Applicants belonging to Scheduled Class/Scheduled Tribe category should have a minimum of 45% marks in class 12.
- Depending on the course applied for, applicants need to have studied Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or Biology.
